That was my first question when friends invited us down to vacation at their home in 2020!
We lived in Colorado and really needed a get away with warm sunshine and lots of places for our teenagers to play and hang out together while making great memories. And wow, did we find the place! Just a 2.5 hour drive south from Las Vegas, NV and 3.5 hours west of Phoenix, AZ. We chose to drive from Colorado, which was 10 hours from Grand Junction, CO (far western side of the state)
We love that drive, because we get to see Moab, UT, National Memorial Parks, beautiful Navajo Nations, The Grand Canyon and Flagstaff on our way down if we choose. Los Angeles is just 4.5 hours away and San Diego just a bit longer. Super for families coming to the land of the free to play in the sun!

After that stay we started our journey of finding the best place to call our own and haven't looked back - It's been a God Send.
